Erik Lipšic

Erik Lipšic is an interventional cardiologist and the head of the Cardiac Catheterization Department at the University Medical Center Groningen since 2014. He completed his medical training at Comenius University in Bratislava and earned his PhD in cardiology from the University of Groningen in 2006. His work includes research on preserving left ventricular function after myocardial infarction and optimizing interventional treatments.
