Francesco Sardanelli is Full Professor of Radiology at the University of Milan and Director of the Department of Radiology at IRCCS Policlinico San Donato in Milan. He graduated in Medicine from the University of Genoa in 1982 and completed postgraduate training in Radiodiagnostics there in 1986. His research focuses on MRI applications in oncology and cardiovascular imaging, with leadership roles in European radiology societies and editorial positions including Editor-in-Chief of European Radiology Experimental.
