Maria Magdalena Llabre is Professor of Psychology and Education and a Cooper Fellow in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Miami. She serves as Director of Biobehavioral Statistics at the Behavioral Medicine Research Center in the Department of Psychology. She is co-PI of the Miami Field Center of the NIH NHLBI Hispanic Community Health Study/Study of Latinos (HCHS/SOL) and has studied the Hispanic paradox regarding lower cardiovascular disease rates despite higher risk factor profiles.
