The article is devoted to the analysis and research of acoustic characteristics (sound absorption). Noise-absorbing materials (with a rigid structure, with a rigid frame and a soft filler and a soft structure) have been studied on the «Device for measuring acoustic parameters of materials», an aerodynamic noise generator, a spectrum analyzer of the 1st accuracy class ASSISTANT SIU 30. The analysis of acoustic samples showed that the effectiveness of samples with a soft filler significantly depends on the surface density of the panel itself. It was revealed that a sample with a soft structure and a sample with a rigid frame and a soft filler have sound-absorbing properties, that is, noise reduction from 3 to 14 dB. It was also revealed that by changing the geometry, porosity, density of the porous structure of samples with a soft structure and with a rigid frame and a soft filler, the absorption coefficients increase.
