In general, entrepreneurship is characterized by an individual who pays attention to innovation, creativity, imitation, risktaking and leadership in a systematic manner. It provides opportunities for self employment and generation of employment in others. At this stage, allowing the educated youth to come into entrepreneurship rather than concentrating only on government jobs is very important. In such perspective, the attitude to entrepreneurial activity is necessary for theoretical comprehension and empirical research. Motivated from the above, this study was conducted to check whether there is any difference in perception of male and female undergraduate students about entrepreneurship with respect to their academic track record. Sample: The present study was conducted on 1048 undergraduate students from Shri Rawatpura Sarkar University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Student attitudes towards entrepreneurship were measured using a self-developed tool. For male students, a high level of academic achievement led to better attitudes toward entrepreneurship. Among female students, however, the reversal in trend was not apparent. While all students responded positively toward entrepreneurship, across the board female students showed a more favorite selection to become future entrepreneurs compared to males no matter an academic success level.
