The purpose of the article is to determine the role of repertoire in the formation and development of ensemble bandura creativity using the example of the bandura ensemble „Charivnytsia”. Research methods. The study used structural-functional, historical, as well as source studies, and methods of analysis and synthesis. Scientific novelty of the article. The role and significance of the repertoire in ensemble performance is established using the example of the bandura ensemble „Charivnytsia” of the Dnipro Academy of Music, as a bright representative of bandura ensemble performance in this research for the first time. The repertoire of student groups is the basis for the professional training of bandurists, therefore this study is of great importance for the development of bandura performance and the improvement of the educational system of specialists in national musical art. Conclusions. Repertoire is a generalizing concept, includes composer, performer and listener aspects. In this context, the co-creation (relationship) of the participants in this creative communication process is of enormous importance: composer – performer – listener. On the one hand, the repertoire is determined, and on the other hand, it itself determines the creative face of the musical band, the individual performing style, and the level of professional skill of the musical group. The repertoire of the student bandura ensemble „Charivnytsia” is the basis of the creative activity of the musical group, which accomplishes educational, developmental and educational functions that are inextricably linked. The repertoire creates the fundament of the educational process with a modern competency-based approach to the professional training of bandurists. Only a correctly choose repertoire contributes to the creative growth of the musical group and the improvement of participantsʼ performing skills.
