This study analyzes the Book of Job through Yong-Tae Kim’s Transcendental Co unseling Theory. Job’s transformation is interpreted using key concepts of the theory and from a Christian counseling perspective. Initially, Job suffers identity collapse due to sudden traumatic events. Conflicts with his friends worsen his distress and lead to distorted transcendence, revealing the varied effects of different transcenders. Job’s true transformation begins when he personally encounters God—the absolute transcender. This expands his internal framework, enabling him to shift from a self-centered view to an acknowledgment of his limitations and God’s infinity. Through repentance and forgiveness, Job experiences inner change and restored relationships. The study emphasizes that only God is the unchanging absolute truth who brings fundamental transformation to human life. His self-revelation demonstrates infinite acceptance and love, encouraging trust in Him even amid life’s uncertainties.
