The pursuit of quality education has been a constant concern in Brazil over the past decades. Debates, new methodologies, and strategies aimed at transforming this scenario have become routine; however, the results remain unsatisfactory. With the advancement of research in the 1990s, particularly studies related to the functioning of the human brain, education gained an important ally: neuroscience. As part of the scientific field, neuroscience is multidisciplinary and therefore contributes to various areas of knowledge, including new technologies which, when combined with neuroscience concepts, become powerful tools for developing educational activities beyond the traditional model. In order to better understand this context, our general objective was to examine the relevance of neuroscience in educational practice, as well as the importance of integrating different technological tools into this process. A bibliographic review was identified as the most appropriate methodology, as it allows for comparing the contributions of several authors and critically analyzing the different perspectives on the topic.
