The purpose of this research was to investigate and identify the degree to which social workers and educators - Coordinators of Refugee Education, during their work with refugee children. Among the main themes and targets of this research is the examination of the quality of the cooperation between social workers and educators, as well as obtaining their opinion of the integration and social inclusion of refugee children, on formal and non-formal education the hardships they face, as well as on the appointment of social workers in schools. In order to conduct this thesis, the principles of qualitative methodology were employed and the researcher conducted semi-structured interviews with both social workers and educators. After the analyses of the data were obtained, it was found that Coordinator of Refugee Education and social workers alike believe that they are not able or ready to work in the field of intercultural education right after their graduation from university. They consider that an important factor in order to develop and improve the appropriate skills is personal effort. Furthermore, it was found that there is room for improvement regarding the cooperation between CRE and social workers, as the former consider the latter valuable for solving the problem that schools have to deal with.
