Background: Ayurveda offers pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments for diseases. Marma Chikitsa , a less-explored technique, stimulates vital points to manage ailments. Frozen shoulder (FS), or adhesive capsulitis, resembles Avabahuka in Ayurveda, a Vatavyadhi disorder. Methodology: A single-arm clinical trial at Mahatma Gandhi Ayurved College Hospital and Research Center involved 10 patients undergoing Marma point stimulation ( Kshipra , Manibandha , Kurpar , Indrabasti Aani , Bahavi , and Amsa ) for 0.8 seconds; 15–18 times; and twice daily on Days 1, 7, and 15. Results: Significant relief was observed in pain (92.6%), stiffness (89.3%), and range of motion improvements in flexion (90.5%), extension (85.7%), abduction (95%), internal (81.82%), and external rotation (86.7%). Conclusion: Marma Chikitsa effectively alleviates FS symptoms, providing rapid, non-invasive relief. Integrating it with other Ayurvedic therapies offers a holistic approach. Further research is recommended.
