This study aimed to examine the influence of the work environment on employee performance at the Jambi Provincial Transportation Agency, with job satisfaction serving as a mediating variable. A quantitative research design was employed, involving 61 respondents selected through simple random sampling from a total population of 154 employees. Data were collected using a Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS 4 software.
