The Theatre Festival of Sterijino pozorje is a complex theatre institution with various activities, from festival, publishing, documentation and research to international cooperation. Since its establishment, it has had very dynamic communication with all theatre companies in the territory of the former Yugoslavia, academies of theatre arts, numerous theatre experts, critics, playwrights as well as related cultural institutions. Special attention in the past twenty years has been directed towards creative and productive cooperation with the theatres in the Republic of Srpska.
