This descriptive study analyzes The Role of AI-Driven New Media in Enhancing Palestinian Awareness During the October 7 War from the perspective of the Palestinian public. It also measures the level of reliance on and trust in new media as a source of information during crises. The researcher employed an electronic questionnaire distributed to a random sample of 400 participants between March 11 and May 15, 2025. Data were analyzed using the five-point Likert scale and Pearson’s correlation coefficient. Findings revealed that 80.75% of respondents heavily rely on new media—especially instant messaging apps like WhatsApp and Telegram—for news during conflict. However, only 53.25% expressed moderate trust in these platforms, indicating a gap between their frequent use and the perceived credibility of the content. The study also uncovered digital divides influenced by age and geographic location. The significance of this study lies in its focus on a contemporary, real-time conflict scenario in the Palestinian context, offering both documentary and analytical insights. The study recommends enhancing media literacy, improving digital infrastructure in underserved areas, promoting integration between traditional and digital media, and conducting comparative research in similar Arab conflict zones.
