This research aims to evaluate trends and developments in scientific publications related to coaching and physical development in youth basketball during the period of 2015–2025 through a bibliometric approach. Data was obtained using Publish or Perish software with the Google Scholar database, utilizing the main keyword 'Youth Basketball Training.' A total of 111 articles that met the inclusion criteria were analyzed using VOSviewer to map keyword networks, thematic visualization, and collaboration among authors and institutions. The analysis results show fluctuations in the number of publications from year to year, with a significant increase in 2019 and a decline during the COVID-19 pandemic; however, a positive trend was observed again in 2023 and 2024. The visual mapping produced six main clusters that illustrate the thematic focus of the research, such as training load, strength training, biological maturation, and the effectiveness of training programs. Keywords such as training, basketball, youth basketball, and youth basketball player appear with the highest frequency and weight, indicating their central role in this research landscape. This study provides a comprehensive overview of the direction, distribution, and strength of relationships among themes in the scientific literature on coaching youth basketball, while also opening up opportunities for further research that is more focused, data-driven, and applicable for the development of early sports training models.
