Musical auditory experience from different cultural backgrounds affects individual emotional stability and cognitive regulation function. Through experimental research, three representative cultural background music- -Chinese classical music, Western classical music and modern pop music were selected, and participants were tested for emotional stability and cognitive regulation function. The results show that the emotional stability and cognitive regulation function of music with different cultural backgrounds are the main characteristics of people, which provide a theoretical basis for the application of psychotherapy and education of music.
