This study aims to examine and analyze the effects of intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation on employee performance and job satisfaction at a luxury hotel in Siem Reap. The number of respondents was 247, selected from four luxury hotels. Data were collected using a questionnaire method with a five-point Likert scale. These data were examined and analyzed using SPSS v.26 software using linear multivariate analysis. The results of the study found that the variables of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation together showed a significant positive effect on employee job satisfaction and performance. At the same time, job satisfaction also has a significant positive impact on employee performance. The results of this study also contribute to supporting theory, previous research findings, and practical applications in hotels.
