This activity addresses the importance of adhering to technical standards in the operation of container trucks to mitigate the risk of road accidents caused by improperly secured loads or vehicles that do not meet specified technical specifications. The purpose of this service is to enhance the understanding of the community, especially owners and drivers of cargo vehicles, regarding the critical importance of compliance with technical standards in container truck operations. The partners of this activity are the Vehicle Testing Implementation Unit (UP PKB) Cilincing, North Jakarta, along with cargo vehicle owners and drivers. The service method employed was observation, rule review, socialization, and interviews. Educational materials covered technical specifications and safety standards, supported by various media such as social media video campaigns, stickers, and banners, followed by demonstrations of vehicle inspection procedures, proper container locking techniques, and safe load distribution. The results achieved indicate that participants gained a comprehensive understanding of technical regulations and standards, the significance of adhering to safety standards, and correct operational procedures. The high enthusiasm from participants and positive appreciation from UP PKB Cilincing demonstrate the success of the activity in raising awareness about road safety in the freight transport sector.
