The aim of the article is to substantiate the significance of digital technologies as an important prerequisite for the innovative strengthening of economic security in enterprises, identifying contemporary challenges, and outlining strategic priorities that will contribute to the formation of a resilient and adaptive economic security system in the context of digital transformation. The article explores digital technologies as a key prerequisite for the innovative provision of economic security in enterprises amidst the digitalization of the economy. It is defined that digitalization affects all aspects of enterprise functioning – from operational activities to strategic planning, and its effective implementation strengthens economic security by increasing process transparency, reducing risks, and enhancing competitiveness. It is shown that digital security ensures effective interaction between all functional components of the enterprise’s security – from human resources and finance to technical-technological and investment areas. Attention is drawn to contemporary challenges related to cyber threats, informational risks, a shortage of digital competencies among personnel, and the need to transform business models in accordance with digital trends. It is substantiated that digital technologies create a foundation for an innovative approach to managing economic security, enabling the enterprise not only to respond quickly to challenges but also to systematically ensure resilience against external and internal threats. The strategic priorities for adapting enterprises to the digital environment are outlined, particularly through the development of digital infrastructure, the implementation of innovative information and communication technologies, strengthening the cybersecurity system, and increasing the digital literacy of staff. Emphasis is placed on the importance of adapting enterprises to digital trends as a factor in ensuring the sustainability of business models and their ability to effectively respond to external challenges. It is substantiated that digital technologies not only contribute to innovative development but also serve as the foundation for the formation of a new paradigm of economic security for enterprises.
