The use of a seamless approach in professional training in the field of performing arts has its own specifics. Despite the limitations, which consist in the risk of losing the variability and uniqueness of the author’s pedagogical methods, the advantages allow to develop the integration of professional education levels. The article describes the features of career guidance work based on the experience of the Kemerovo Branch of the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts in the regions of the Siberian and adjacent federal districts. Due to the implementation of the artistic and aesthetic profile in the upper grades of secondary schools, the career guidance work includes the formation of a conscious choice and a positive attitude to the preparation and successful passing of the Unified State Exam in “Literature”. Its effective forms are interactive university excursions including creative meetings with leading teachers, touring performances by college students in the educational theatre of the branch, holding thematic youth festivals, competitions, laboratories, as well as inviting famous theatre personalities to participate in master classes. The article examines the integration of the levels of higher and secondary vocational education using the example of theatre and art programs within the specialty “Scenography” and the training direction “Technology of Artistic Design of a Performance”. The result should be the ability of the student to build an individual educational route, guided by the information gained from interaction with the university community.
