The article discusses the significance and role of teaching Russian as foreign language for Arabic students. Different approaches to teaching speaking of Arabic students in the educational process are presented. The most effective forms and means of communicative skills development and formation of Arab students are investigated. The article defines the main tasks in teaching speaking to foreign students. Special attention is paid to the importance of teaching Russian to Arab students. The practical advantages of knowledge of the Russian language by Arabic students in the Russian-speaking environment are determined.
