This research aims to develop valid and reliable student learning style instruments to overcome diagnostic assessment problems, such as unclear learning styles, absence of standard instruments, low teachers' ability to compile instruments, and lack of documentation of assessment results. Development using the ADDIE model is through the stages of analysis, design, development (validation by three experts), implementation (trial), and evaluation. The validity test was conducted using the Pearson Product-Moment correlation, while the reliability was tested using Cronbach's Alpha at a significance level of 5%, with 612 test subjects from four schools. As a result, all 48 statements prepared based on 15 visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning style indicators were declared valid and reliable, so that this instrument is suitable for widespread use to improve the effectiveness of diagnostic assessments.
