The article presents the implementation of a communicative approach (various levels of tasks aimed at developing sustainable practical skills and speech culture skills) in the training of specialists using the example of humanities disciplines intended for undergraduates of technical specialties in the Republic of Belarus. The study of such disciplines as "Culture of speech", "Rhetoric and academic writing", "Theory of intercultural communication", "Technologies of business presentations" contributes to the improvement of speech culture, the adaptation of undergraduates to professional activities, the formation of a creative competent communicative personality capable of intercultural interaction and successful business communication. Speech culture is an integral part of the professionalism and success of a specialist in any field. The constant development of skills and a conscious attitude to language resources allows graduates to adapt to the demands of the time and meet high standards of communication. Thus, the systematic study and implementation of disciplines that contribute to the improvement of speech culture has significant scientific and practical significance for modern education.
