This research focused on the development of a practical training kit for electrical circuits and home lighting, aiming to enhance problem-solving skills in electrical and electronics work among vocational certificate students. The developed training kit consisted of a home lighting and electrical circuit assembly set, lesson plans, content handouts, practice worksheets, presentation media, post-learning tests, learning achievement tests, a problem-solving skills assessment form in electrical and electronics work, and a satisfaction questionnaire. The sample group comprised 20 first-year vocational certificate students in the Electrical Program at Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Technical College, who were enrolled in the Basic Electrical and Electronics course in the first semester of the 2024 academic year, selected through cluster random sampling. Data were analyzed using mean (x̅), standard deviation (SD), percentage (%), quality assessment of the training kit, and the E1/E2 efficiency index. The research findings revealed that the developed training kit was rated at a high level of appropriateness by experts (x̅ ) = 4.38, SD = 0.31). Its efficiency was measured at 84.50/82.17, which was higher than the set criterion of 80/80. Students’ problem-solving skills were assessed at a very good level, accounting for 85.00%. Furthermore, student satisfaction toward the training kit was at the highest level (x̅ ) = 4.63, SD = 0.17). These results indicate that the developed training kit effectively promotes problem-solving skills and achieves a high level of learner satisfaction.
