Motivation: Many open-source toolboxes can simulate radio-frequency (RF) pulses, but usually focus only on either interactivity or ergonomy, but not both at the same time. Goal (s): Pulse performances are evaluated interactively using a Graphical User Interface (GUI) by solving the Bloch equation 1. Approach: A complete RF pulse simulation toolbox with GUI and scripting capabilities was designed, with a strong focus on interactivity and ergonomy. Results: The open-source toolbox is freely available on GitHub: https: //github. com/benoitberanger/mriᵣfₚulseₛimulationₘatlab Impact: While many open-source toolboxes can simulate radio-frequency (RF) pulses, this toolbox improves understanding and optimization of RF pulses, for both the sequence designer and for educational purpose.
