Motivation: Validation of whether synthetic MRI is equivalent to conventional MRI for the assessment of soft tissue tumors. Goal(s): Synthetic MRI technology is not inferior to, and even superior to, conventional MRI technology. Approach: Using a Likert scale, the image quality obtained by each technique was evaluated using a double-blind method. Results: Compared to conventional MRI, synthetic MRI demonstrates higher lesion contrast, faster acquisition time, and equivalent assessment of STT signal characteristics. Impact: In tumor examination protocols, synthetic MRI sequences can replace the four conventional MRI cross-sectional sequence scans
