As of late, academic research has been focusing on conceptualizing and developing the phenomenon known as “Anti-Blackness”, as part of exploring the depth and persistence of racism towards Black communities in the United States. This article further conceptualizes the impacts of Anti-Blackness and white supremacy on minority stress among QTBIPOC communities, as well as provides recommendations for mental health counselors to develop further awareness, theoretical frameworksandadvocacy efforts to address and disrupt Anti-Blackness throughout counseling practice and healthcare.
