In September 2019, a salvage excavation was conducted in a part of the Bet She’an antiquities site (Permit No. A-8584; map ref. 248105/711565; Fig. 1) prior to the construction of a water installation. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the Ministry of Defense, was directed by T. Badichi (field photography), with the assistance of Y. Har’el (probe trenches), A. Lavan (administration), A. Shapiro (GIS), E. Dalali-Amos (drafting), A. Kleiner (photogrammetry), K. Covello-Paran (scientific guidance), W. Gazit (studio photography), as well as laborers from Kafr Manda.
