Effective data visualization enables non-profits to transform complex information into accessible insights for donors, stakeholders, and communities. Clear visual communication fosters accountability, builds trust, and strengthens decision-making. This Teaching Paper introduces five practical templates—bar charts, line graphs, pie charts, infographics, and dashboards—adapted specifically for non-profit contexts. Drawing on strategic planning, performance measurement, and communication frameworks, it demonstrates how visualization supports both internal learning and external reporting. A case study illustrates application in a resource-limited organization, while common pitfalls and cultural considerations are addressed. The paper serves as both a scholarly contribution and a practical toolkit for enhancing transparency and impact in non-profit communication.
