Abstract

In March 2019, an excavation was conducted at the remains of the ancient synagogue in the north part of Tel Menora (Permit No. A-8525; map ref. 249397/703412), as part of the community outreach ‘Adopt a Site’ program. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the Heritage Department in the Prime Minister's Office, was conducted by Y. Har’el* (field photography), with the assistance of Y. Lavan (administration) and with the participation of kibbutz members, youths and children from Kibbutz T irat Z vi.
