Abstract Though it has no tides and often floods only during the rainy season, Sylhet is a city that is prone to flooding. This river is contaminated by human meddling, inadequate drainage and drainage systems, discharges from local fish markets, and industrial and home trash. Water quality parameters (WQP) of 27 samples from three different water stations. The data collected at four-month intervals are seasonal changes in water quality during monsoons, winter and summer in 2023-2024. Oriented these results of this total dissolved oxygen (TDS) and electrical conductivity (EC). During monsoon, winter and summer season, the coefficients of determination of TDS and EC regression analysis (R2) were 0.7543, 0.7924 and 0.9081 respectively. The TDS and TSS (total soluble solids) parameters of the Sentinel-2 data are displayed with the remote sensing map of the affected areas of the city due to flooding 2022 Estimation of the experimental and predicted values of WQP in the water bodies inhibit l toxicological deep water from fishing areas. . Investigations revealed that the desired areas were toxic to the water and provided for the cultivation of fish in the cage system before use. Therefore, this research aims to establish conservation measures with a proper monitoring of water quality to maintain the health and livelihood that people depend on.
