Hacking attacks, phishing or identity theft threaten the privacy and security of online users. This paper focuses on the situation of senior citizens in Poland in the context of the development of new technologies and cybersecurity. In the first part, the author analyses the latest reports on cybersecurity and cyber threats to seniors. In the second part, the author presents the results of her own research obtained from surveys conducted among people aged 60 and older.
