Purpose The purpose of this study was to explore the leadership competencies of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) college athletes and assess the potential differences between domestic and international college athletes. Design/methodology/approach A quantitative, non-experimental research design was employed, including the use of an electronic survey to collect data.
