The article developes the idea about subjective law as a means of regulating relations based on balancing the interests of their participants. The author proves the connection between the law-abiding behavioral track of the copyright holder and the level of legal support for his personal interest has been proven. The necessity of adjusting ideas about subjective law as a universal regulator of behavior in relationships of various types on the basis of internal motivation is substantiated. The article emphasizes the importance of revealing the potential of subjective law, which can provide motivation for the law-abiding behavior of the right holder by expanding the ability to satisfy needs in his interests.
