The flame characteristics of turbulent premixed jet flames fuelled with stoichiometric hydrogen/methane mixtures are studied using Direct Numerical Simulation (DNS). The study investigates four cases with 0, 10, 50, and 80% hydrogen by volume while maintaining the jet Reynolds number at 10,300. The addition of hydrogen leads to reduced wrinkling as the flame moves from the thin-reaction zone regime towards the corrugated flamelet regime. This study underlines the importance of using appropriate non-dimensionalisation parameters for generalising the findings. Specifically, the flame thickness defined by Peters (2000) which use the conditions at the point of the maximum heat release rate is found suitable to non-dimensionalise curvature and describe the variation of the displacement speed as a function of curvature.
