This study investigates the challenges and best practices in curriculum development and implementation within the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework. Drawing on a comprehensive literature review and empirical data, the research identifies key challenges faced by IB schools, including curriculum alignment with IB standards, teacher preparedness, resource allocation, student diversity, and assessment practices. The study highlights the importance of collaborative planning, continuous professional development, and inclusive practices as essential strategies for overcoming these challenges. Effective resource management and robust leadership are also identified as critical factors in facilitating successful curriculum implementation. The findings underscore the necessity of integrating interdisciplinary approaches and fostering a culture of collaboration among educators. The research contributes to the field of IB education by providing practical guidelines for enhancing curriculum development and implementation, ultimately aiming to improve educational outcomes and support the holistic development of students in a globalized context. The study concludes that visionary leadership, strong communication channels, and a supportive educational ecosystem are vital for the success of the IB curriculum, offering recommendations for future research to further explore these areas.
