SIMAK Application Design (Extracurricular Management Information System)

The advancement of information technology has influenced various aspects of life, including educational management. Managing extracurricular activities in schools often faces challenges such as time-consuming processes and ineffective communication. This research aims to develop and implement a web-based Extracurricular Management Information System (SIMAK) application to enhance efficiency and transparency. Agile methodology with the Scrum model and the use of Laravel framework were employed for system development. The SIMAK application supports activity registration, schedule management, attendance, and student assessment, involving administrators, coaches, and students as primary users. The research results indicate improvements in efficiency and transparency in extracurricular activity management, encouraging student participation, and providing better data for schools to make decisions.
