The study aims to identify the features of the communicative behavior of students with normal and impaired vision during adolescence and young adulthood based on the testing of their level of readiness for communication. The paper analyzes the psychological and pedagogical literature on the formation of communicative activity among adolescents and young adults. A comparative analysis of the type of communicative behavior of students with normal and impaired vision (the motivational and need-related criterion and the present activity criterion) is given. The scientific novelty of this study lies in identifying the areas of pedagogical activity for the development of communication among adolescents and young adults with normal and impaired vision. As a result, the study provides an understanding of the need to expand the interaction of teachers and psychologists, support services and parents in the formation of communication skills among students with normal and impaired vision.
