The Fifth Annual Executives Forum of the American Medical Writing Association (AMWA) was held on October 25, 2023, in Baltimore, Maryland, as part of the AMWA Annual Conference. The forum brought together leaders in medical writing departments from companies across the industry to enhance communication, share information and views, and formulate goals for the medical writing profession. Representatives from pharmaceutical companies, clinical research organizations, and specialized medical writing companies were present. The forum was facilitated by Jenni Pickett, PhD, and headed by Julia Cooper, PhD, the head of the AMWA Executives Forum Committee. Breakout discussions were organized by Karen Rutkowski, PhD.
