This study analyzed factors influencing the behavioral intention to adopt GoPay Later among 124 Gen Z users in Indonesia, employing partial least squares structural equation modeling. The findings revealed that computer self-efficacy and security perceptions significantly shaped perceived ease of use and trust respectively.Additionally, trust and perceived usefulness exhibited positive impacts on GoPay Later usage intentions. However, perceived ease of use, financial cost, security and social influence did not demonstrate significant effects. The results imply balancing convenience with data safeguards and financial prudence as pivotal for customer retention as youth fintech acceptance expands. While confirming generational payment tendencies, further examination of risk-related anxieties and comparative expectations may elucidate avenues for ethical digital financial service design sensitive to emerging consumer needs.
