Six new species : Hygroamblystegium gangulianum, Hygrohypnum naitii, H. choprae, Brachythecium chakratense, B. garhwalense and Rhynchostegium calderii and three new varieties one each under Pseudoleskea laevifolia, Thuidium squarrosulum and T. contortulum are described and illustrated in this paper.
