This study is devoted to improving the reliability of the data of the information model of an industrial building using systems for working out changes in the conditions of dynamically changing design solutions. The paper examines the existing problems in making changes to building information models (BIM), analyzes classical and innovative methods for solving them. A new approach is presented and tested on the example of Autodesk Revit, which contains the advantages of the previous methods and minimizes their disadvantages. The results of the implementation of the proposed method and its impact on reducing design errors and collisions, increasing the compliance of the model and the issued documentation are discussed.
