The article is devoted to the Finnish legislation on criminal liability of legal entities. The issues of formation and development of the criminal legislation of Finland are considered. It is indicated that the criminal liability of legal entities in Finland was established in 1995 by amending the national criminal code and consists of applying in court to a legal entity for a crime a criminal sanction — a corporate fine. The general conditions for applying a corporate fine to legal entities are given and analyzed.
