In this scientific article, the author reveals the content of international legal documents regulating the implementation of the norms of the institute of criminal liability of legal entities in the national legislation of the participating countries, using the example of the criminal legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2017. The article presents the results of a thorough analysis of the main provisions of international normative acts and theoretical concepts of criminal liability of a legal entity, examines the points of view of leading scientists of criminal law and criminal procedure law on existing and promising areas of development of the institute of criminal liability of legal entities in Kyrgyzstan and other countries. Since December 1, 2021, new criminal legislation has been in force in the Kyrgyz Republic, replacing the codes that entered into force in 2019, adopted in 2017 as part of the criminal law reform, due to the fact that law enforcement agencies and judges began to experience certain difficulties due to collisions and contradictions between theory and practice.
