This publication contains the results of the research of the peculiarities of optimization of profit tax of the organization. The article reveals the concept of profit tax optimization as a component of strategic financial management of the enterprise. Based on the analysis of proposals of various scientists, the article presents legitimate measures to reduce the tax base and the amount of profit tax as a component of strategic financial management of the enterprise. Today, tax payments constitute a significant part of an enterprise's expenses. One of the main tasks of any business entity is to increase the profitability of the organization. For this purpose, in the process of writing the article, a comparative analysis of different taxation strategies including the application of tax exemptions and deductions, tax planning and structuring, etc. was carried out. It was found that effective measures to minimize the income tax base, according to many authors, include keeping accurate records of all business expenses, including the use of technological tools and software, identifying types of deductible expenses, and strategic planning for large purchases. It is concluded that maximizing tax efficiency through corporate income tax optimization requires careful planning, accurate record keeping and a thorough understanding of tax laws. Ways of improving tax strategy, aspects of increasing the company's profit volume are considered. Peculiarities of tax legislation and regulations in terms of tax optimization of profit tax are highlighted and described. Considerable attention is paid to the importance of tracking updates in tax legislation.
