In recent years, due to the demand for miniaturization and weight reduction of magnetic devices such as in-vehicle drive motors, the authors have focused on miniaturization of the system through the fusion of devices. In this paper, we proposed an integrated motor structure combining a step-up reactor and a motor for a motor drive system using a step-up DC/DC converter. After confirming that the reactor and motor functioned independently, we calculated the characteristics when they operated simultaneously, and investigated the improvement of the motor torque characteristics by changing the structure of the reactor.
