The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of perfectionism in the relationship between self-management and performance confidence of Chinese students majoring in dance. Reliability analysis, frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and structural model analysis were conducted. These results suggest that Chinese students majoring in dance behave confidently in dance performances because they are constantly striving and thoroughly managing and pursuing perfection. In future research, various discussions should be made on psychological problems that may affect performance confidence, difficulties in studying abroad, problems of Korean language ability, and adaptation to Korea.
