The flipped classroom approach has become more widely used in engineering education. This approach provides advantages for teachers and students by creating a supportive and interactive learning environment and giving them more opportunity to regulate their own teaching and learning process. The aim of this study was to investigate students' perception of different methods of flipped classroom in teaching the Engineering Economy course to two groups of engineering students. The survey results showed that both materials engineering and civil engineering groups believed that the instructor was skilled in presenting the course content using the flipped classroom approach. Also, the majority of students in both classes found this approach highly effective on the learning skills and competencies and almost all of them were highly satisfied with the delivery of the course content.
