Drawing insights from relevant literature and data, this research delves into the socio-cultural norms and expectations that impact women's decisions regarding employment. Additionally, it examines the role of economic conditions and educational attainment, in influencing female workforce participation. Through a comprehensive examination of these factors, this study aims to provide policymakers and stakeholders with insights to develop targeted interventions aimed at promoting gender equality and enhancing female workforce participation in Punjab.
