The present study is based on oribatid mite material collected from Malaysia. A list of 23 species, belonging to 19 genera and 14 families, is presented; of these, two genera and five species are reported for the first time from Malaysia. Two new species of Oripodoidea – Muliercula malaysiaensis sp. nov. (Scheloribatidae) and Neoribates (Neoribates) pahangensis sp. nov. (Parakalummidae) – are described from forest leaf litter.
