The article emphasizes that the key feature of Yurii Izdryk's individual writing style is not direct communication with the reader, but rather the depiction of the world and the sensory experiences of the protagonist. It is substantiated that Izdryk's idiolect represents a distinctive idiomatic system, based on the combination of various lexical units with unique connotations. It has been found that Yurii Izdryk's idiolect is characterized by the diversity and expressiveness of lexico-semantic devices. Semantic relationships between lexico-semantic units are observed (paradigmatic, syntagmatic, epidigmatic).
